The Project "Weroance Park»

The project involves the construction of a combined wind and solar power plant "Wind-Solar Park" with an installed capacity of 37 MW.

The total design capacity of the Wind-Solar Park is 37 MW. The construction site is located in the western part of our republic’s Mangistau region. As a result of the project implementation, an energy generating facility with an annual electricity generation capacity of 121,000,000 kWh will appear. The project is both an innovative and infrastructural object. The design will consist of 16 wind power plants (VEU) with a nominal capacity of 2.1 MW, and about 19,000 pcs. solar panels of a polycrystalline module at 305 W (watts) each. As a result of the project, the first wind power station in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be created, which will provide electricity to the direct consumer.

The project will contribute to the development of Kazakhstan's alternative energy sector, the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol on reducing and stabilizing greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere, as well as, increasing the share of renewable energy in the country. The project implementation will increase the volume of investments attracted to the region, including foreign investments. In addition, the project will create new jobs, increase tax payments to the local budget and increase the volume of the regional gross product.

According to preliminary virtual wind monitoring, the wind potential in the selected territory is quite high, on average 8 m / s. The solar potential is in no way inferior to the wind potential, total solar days in the year 226, with an average daily sunshine amounting to 107.9 hours per year. Thus, seasonality will not affect the performance of the Wind-Solar Park electric power.

Characteristic properties of the product:

• 24-hour uninterrupted power generation (7/24);

• inexhaustibility, sources are renewable;

• do not violate the ecological balance of the planet, there will be no CO2 emissions;

• exist in a variety of options: in each locality it is possible to detect and use at least one such source, in Mangistau oblast this is the strength of the wind, and also of the sun (71% of sunny days per year);

• reduce the dependence of mankind on traditional energy resources that are not replenishable and are detrimental to the ecology of the planet.

Stages of the project:

• Determining the feasibility of the project;

• Negotiations with potential buyers;

• Project development;

• Registration of a land plot for 2 years to install a meteorological mast and collect annual data of the wind potential;
